Larry Stewart, ‘What’s That Cowgirl See in Me’ Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]

Restless Heart frontman Larry Stewart is debuting the brand-new music video for his single "What's That Cowgirl See in Me" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch.

The "What's That Cowgirl See in Me" clip is Stewart's first solo music video in two decades. "I really appreciated the opportunity to shoot one on the first single from my new album," the singer tells The Boot.

"What's That Cowgirl See in Me," written by Dave Turnbull and Michael Anthony Mobley, mirrors the tender, ballad-style tunes of Stewart's band, but with a bigger emphasis on his own vocals. Stewart fronted Restless Heart from the mid-1980s until the early '90s, recording '80s country hits including "I'll Still Be Loving You" and "The Bluest Eyes in Texas."

After a decade-long solo career, Stewart reunited with Restless Heart in the early 2000s. He recorded "What's That Cowgirl See in Me" and the album on which it appears, Shifting Gears, while out on the road with the band, on their 35th anniversary tour.

Shifting Gears is a revitalization of sorts of the successful solo career that Stewart had in the 1990s. During that decade, he recorded four solo albums and charted eight solo singles, including the Top 5 "Alright Already" and the Top 40 "I'll Cry Tomorrow."

Shifting Gears, Stewart's first solo project since 1999, was released on Sept. 7.
