Our scripture is Genesis 3: 17-23

And don't forget the BBQ Picnic Potluck at 4:00 pm ... or is it a BBQ Potluck Picnic? ... either way, there'll be plenty of food, fun and fellowship!
This Sunday!
Summer BBQ Picnic Potluck

Sunday, August 26
4:00 to 7:00 pm

You'll enjoy chicken and hot dogs on the grill, provided by your Board of Directors, as well an array of potluck creations ... bring your favorite dish to share!

We'll have ice tea and lemonade, but also bring what you'd like to drink. Yes, there will be games! We've got the whole west lawn to play in. Got a game ... bring it along.

Let us know if you want to help — there's plenty to do. Contact Dave and Vicky Smith

Call for Liturgists
Thanks to everyone who has already signed up! You'll be getting the preliminary Fall schedule next week.

In the meantime, we've also started work on the winter Liturgist Sunday Worship Schedule and invite anyone interested to add your name to the existing team!

Liturgists arrive by 9:30 am on their assigned Sunday to do a sound check. During worship, they read the Call to Worship (as assigned), the scripture passages and make a brief personal statement before the offertory.

You’ll receive the scripture text and Order of Worship in advance AND we’ll have a special Liturgist Binder for you on Sunday.

Give it a try! No experience needed. You'll be joining an existing group; liturgists typically serve one Sunday every third month, or so.

Contact the Church Office if you have any questions or to sign up.
